.45 ACP Ammo

The .45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol), AKA .45 Auto, was designed by the famous John Browning in the early 1900s. Similar to the 9mm Luger, the .45 ACP Cartridge was designed primarily for use in semiautomatic pistols. The United States Army adopted the .45 ACP when they began issuing the M1911 Pistol. Because of the large caliber and heavy rounds the .45 ACP usually shoots, it makes it inherently subsonic, resulting in one of the most powerful pistol calibers that can be used with suppressed weapons.
