Pistol & Handgun Ammunition

Finding the right pistol ammo is hard enough - choosing the right personal defense round is an even more specific process. We are here to help you find the ammo you need. We carry anything from .38 special to 500 S & W, and everything in between.

9mm Ammo

This caliber is the most popular and widely used around the world. Georg Luger, an Austrian gunsmith, came up with the idea for the 9x19mm Parabellum in 1901. Luger took his previous design, the 7.65x21mm Parabellum, and used it to make the 9mm Parabellum. The 9mm Parabellum is a cartridge that doesn't have a rim and is tapered. It fires a bullet with a diameter of 0.355 inches (9.01mm) and a case length of 19.15mm.

45 ACP Ammo

The.45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) or.45 Auto is a straight-walled, rimless handgun cartridge that was created by John Moses Browning in 1904 for his prototype Colt semi-automatic pistol. After military tests showed that it functioned well, it soon became the standard chambering for Colt's M1911 pistol. This caliber is known to be slightly larger and slower than .40 caliber, and it has a bit more recoil. The .45 Automatic Colt Pistol cartridge is a reliable choice for use in combat. It's a good choice for use against soft targets due to a combination of its accuracy and stopping power, low muzzle blast and flash, and substantial but controllable recoil in handguns.

FN 5.7 Ammo

For usage in handguns and personal defense weapons (PDWs), FN Herstal produced the FN 5.728mm NATO, a small-caliber, high-velocity, smokeless powder, rebated rim, and bottlenecked centerfire cartridge. The 5.7x28mm ammo is also commonly used in popular personal defense weapons (PDWs) and other popular handgun models similar to Ruger's 57 models.
