D-Day Remembrance 2016

D-Day Remembrance 2016

72 years ago today members of the Allied Nations swallowed fear and stood tall to face down tyranny. These men, supported by the prayers of parents, children, spouses, siblings and friends around the world jumped out of boats and planes to show the world that the free nations would not stand by and watch evil prevail.

These men stood in our place.  Many of them giving their lives on our behalf; going forward to ensure those they love wouldn’t have to.

"The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you." - General Dwight D Eisenhower, prior to the D-Day Assault

Remember these men. Do not forget the sacrifices they made, nor the sacrifices their families’ made.

Remember those who serve today. Those who stand in the gap between our loved ones and those who wish to do us harm.

The following video was not made by Clark Armory but we feel it is a quality production to help us all take a few minutes to pause and remember those who fought on June 6th 1944.

Please watch the video and remember.

Amazing! Proud and saddened at the same time. So many found a way to come together to stand for so much. I am truly grateful! Thank you for sharing, Clark Armory Team! Yet again, you exceed my expectations.
